Parent Connections is a Richmond Family Place program that helps strengthen isolated families by supporting parents with young children. Parents participate in a peer environment while learning about improving outcomes for their children.

Susan Whittaker is the former board president for Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network (PLAN). In this personal and poignant interview, Susan shares personal stories of her family and the unforgettable lessons she’s learned about life, even during her battle with cancer. Susan passed away January 17, 2011.

Mothers of Kigeme

“Mothers of Kigeme”, is a short film about the Healthy Mum’s Project. It explores the lives of three women in a town called Kigeme in the country of Rwanda; and a community nurse that seeks to improve their lives by teaching women how to improve their health while they are pregnant.
